PEAKED AT #1 - Written By Eric Geibel (BMI), Performed By Eric Geibel. The song is a traditionally country tune with a little cajun flavor. Could be done in a more tradional cajun format as well.

Written by: Eric Geibel
Composed by: Eric Geibel & Pershing Wells
Performed by: Eric Geibel

Born on the bayou in south Louisianne
I was sittin' on the front porch where she loves to dance around
Laughin' and singin' she never had a care
Hopin' and prayin' she always played there
and as the time slowly passes by, I wish it would never change

It's Always Changin' Everything
It's never the same, same old game
and that the way it has to be
Always Changin' you and me

Spending time together, always made me smile
Never findin' a reason to ever say goodbye
Holdin' hands together, they could never take that away
Walkin' through the front yard, I'd listen to what she'd say
And as the time slowly passes by, I wish it would never change

Always Changin' Everything
It's never the same, same old game
and that the way it has to be
Always Changin' you and me

As she grows older, she wanders farther away
Creating more distance seems normal for a day
And I can't help but wonder, where she'd want to go
Why can't she still tell me the things I autta know
And as the time slowly passes by, I know that it always changes

She's always changin' everything
It never the same, same old game
and that's the way it has to be
Always Changin' you and me
Alwasy Changin' you and me x

LEGENDARY MUSIC
"Always Changing" - a little Country, a little Cajun, and dare I say - all Eric Geibel doing what he's done best just about all around the world it seems after reading his great bio. Dang!! And I thought I'd been just about everywhere!! It's a wonder we didn't cross trails somewhere along the way Eric!! Well, you know I've had an appreciative and respectful ear for you and your songs and music ever since hearing you when we were both picked up and being played by Jerry and Sherry at MCTMG Radio in Nashville a year or two back. Remember those fine folks Eric and all they did to promote Indie Country artists just like you and I and many others like us? I have to tell you Eric, it's hard to pick just one of your songs because they're all so gol-dang great. Oh, and before I forget, thank you for being so patient waiting for me to get around to see you - I never seem to get anywhere close to the top of my "to do" list - I no sooner take one thing off my plate when another finds it's way on. Well, this is one great song Eric, one that I can play over and over and over and never tire of listening to. Great lyrics, great music, production and arrangement, and yes your great vocals - just a little Country with a little Cajun flavor here plus it's got your own personal stamp and touch reflecting things changing in the life of your son. It doesn't get much more Country than this folks. If old Rascal'd still been here, him and I could have done a little toe-stepping on the porch at the cabin tonight - me two-footin' and him four-footin' (or something like that), but just like Eric sings here, the times and things are "Always Changing" ... c'est la vie. Anyway, I'm real glad I made it over to your page tonight Eric and brought you and this great song back to Legendary Music. Welcome!!
