How you can't find your car in a parking lot

HIDE AND SEEK
I thought I'd take a ride Go strolling through a store
Something I have done So many times before
I reach the shopping center And park right on the lot
And before I leave my car I check and mark the spot.
'Cause my car will move away And it sounds like tongue in cheek
But my car just loves to play A game called hide and seek.
I'll be looking where I left it But I know it won't be there
And I end up playing hide and seek And looking everywhere.
And it isn't just my car That likes to play that game
My little set of keys Like it just the same
I'll put them where I'll find them And check and mark the spot
But then they get together And form their little plot.
They slowly move away And it sounds like tongue in cheek
But my keys just love to play A game called hide and seek.
I'll be looking where I left them But I know they won't be there
And I end up playing hide and seek Looking everywhere.
And it's the same with checkbooks, And tools and things I read;
With sales receipts and warranties And all those things I need.
They are like little children And drive me up the wall
'Cause they aren't where I need them - At my beck and call.
They slowly move away And it sounds like tongue in cheek
But they all just love to play A game called hide and seek.

"Has anybody seen my keys?"
"Honey, where is my red tie?"
"I wonder where my hammer is....."
