This song is about the moon

Written and performed by Kursten Bouton
Mixed and Mastered by James Stapleford

Transcend.
I woke up today afraid of my own shadow, afraid of what it means to be inside of my own skin. So many questions questioning answers so long forgotten now time erases meaning with a means to start again.

Your fear became your dignity and left my hands just as they were; no better and no worse I guess that yours have been washed clean. But my life is not a burden when I put myself in front of it, even digging in my heels for the details of this scene. The beauty you create within the walls of all your solitude can't saturate my wells no matter how we rearrange our fate and all the scratches on the walls within those kindergarten halls. Love felt like punishment and every prayer received a failing grade.

For every lullaby there is a time to cry, a time to grieve, a time to breath but somehow leave behind this distant sigh. You have no fear my dear. You have absolved the unresolving trapped unconsciousness those zombies so revere.

The moon hangs low upon this song and spider spinning falls along the lines of every stanza making way for us to grow. So could it be, perhaps I see the sideshow here in front of me is the end of our beginning. Here we stand a little torn. We're laughing so we will not cry in their face, the freaks walk by, the brunt of every secret scathed in deeply rooted scorn.

In every story told there is a hero bold and brave and somehow beautiful even just in my own mind. And in my eyes I see there is a side of me anxiety can't touch or smell or see because it's blind.

And there....

There is a time to cry to that moon that's hanging low to catch the silver lining in our sighs. She'd die to be standing here within arms reach of every dream we toss into the sea. She casts a spell to bring destiny's hell to hold the power of the waves within her sacrificial shell. And when it's time to hear her poems she whispers, drops the bottle, then she waits for it to reappear. But don't you fear my love, because what I sent to her above, she wrapped within a blanket; all my fears that somehow went from push to shove. x
