Beverly Jayne

There’s nothing new here
I take you back there
You follow and I follow too
I’m feeling lonely
And you’re looking lovely
No thought I’m really sticking too
How bout you….?

And now I’m back here
And you’ve not left yet
I think that I’ll just follow you
You’re feeling lonely
And I’m looking lovely
You know that we don’t have a clue
Not a clue…..

CHORUS
Sinking into this
Feeling
Forbidden bliss
Holding on too tight
I know I might, I know I might
Lose myself, here in this night

I watch you slowly
You look right back and
No time until we
Follow through
I try resist you
Those eyes can’t miss them
Who’s thinking now, not me
And not you…

CHORUS
I can’t do it though I,
I see through it
I just can’t do it
No, no, no, no, no!

I can’t do it though I
I see through it
I just can’t do it
No, no, no, no, no!

CHORUS

INDIE SPIRIT
Beverly Jayne was born in East London, South Africa to a family in love with music. From rocker dad, to concert pianist turned music teacher, gran. She is renowned as a phenomenal performer with a distinctive unique vocal style. Her song writing is powerful, her stage presence is unforgettable. Hailed as one of the great female rock singers in South Africa, Beverly Jayne has made her mark fronting SA band Concussion Girl (most noted for the saucy single "Tie me up" featured on worldwide release horror movie). Having released two albums with Band Concussion Girl, Beverly Jayne is finally recording much anticipated debut solo album. This album somehow straddles the line between keeping fresh and feeling strangely reminiscent of the songs that changed the role of women in rock in the early 90's. The lyrics are raw, honest and instantly relatable.
