"Ride"
Written and Composed by Rob Routon
Produced by KING Productions
(C) 2015 Performed by Melodica Meltdown

"Ride" is a song for one of those people who think everything through and hesitate or put it off and never end up DOING whatever it is. It doesn't matter how well you think things through, you'll never solve whatever it is you're trying to fix without experimenting. Throwing your hands up and ride (in life) is what you should do to get your mind off of things when you think too hard. Enjoy what you can! Of course, think about things before you do them. But don't think TOO hard, and actually DO them. If you're wondering, yes this used to be me and still is a little :)
You say you've gotta change the world, but all your hope is lost
You scale the hills like everyone, but slide down in the frost
They tell you nothing's easy have a drink, but now is not the time
Puzzled by dimensions folding over, always asking why

Throw your hands up and ride! Ride!

Rising from the dirt, whether undead or hurt
You've gotta bring yourself to carry on
It's a trip to the brain, everyone's game
Invincibility is always pumping through your moral veins
(to bring it out from inside)
Even if the fortress falls and the millions roar your name
There's still a glitch in the mind, so divine,
Handle what you may until the future-you can draw the line

Throw your hands up and ride! Ride!

She pleads for you to fill her heart, with love you rarely have
You dive to find some reason, but arise with empty hands
She tells you nothing's worthy, take a hit
But now I've lost my mind
Astonished by dimensions twisting under, always asking why. x
