Great ballad with tones of Fleetwood Mac

Hold Me. It's interesting how life events bring inspiration. Brian Wilson wrote The Warmth of the Sun with Mike Love - one of my favorite Beach Boys songs - the same morning President Kennedy was shot in Dallas. The lyrics for Hold Me happened the day after the 2016 Presidential Election. The security of having someone you love hold you and not let go - going through adversity together rather than alone. Love the guitar part at the end of the song - John pegged the emotion precisely.

Hold Me
Thought I’d have to search the world.
Diamond among all the pearls.
A partner who has my back.
Comfort when under attack.
(refrain)
Please just hold me tight.
Hold me with all your might.
Like there’s no tomorrow.
Keep me in your arms tonight.
Please just hold me tight.
Say it will be alright.
Close to your heart.
Keep me in your arms tonight.
It’s you and I lost in this world.
Swimming upstream in the swirl.
Watching the crazy madness uncurl.
Woman among all the girls.
(refrain)
(mid8)
It takes two against the forces we’ll fight.
It takes two to change a wrong into right.
It’s not easy, but that’s why we are here.
Unveil the mask, make the devil disappear.
(refrain)
Hold me.
Keep me in your arms tonight.
Hold me.
Keep me in your arms tonight.
Hold me.
Keep me in your arms tonight.
