This is a 1991 collaboration between Galleon leader Elliott Michaels and two of his fellow musicians in Los Angeles, Patrick Butler and Steve Hoshko. It was written at a time when Michaels was having it rough economically, emotionally, socially and musically. Listen to the lyrics and understand what Elliott was going through at the time. And in case you're wondering, IT HAS GOTTEN MUCH BETTER!
Written by Patrick Butler, Steve Hoshko and Elliott Michaels. Recorded at the Star Community Bar in Atlanta, GA. Personnel: Bert Pickering (deceased), digital organ; Michael Watson (deceased), five-string bass; Scott "Screech" Edens, drums; Jon Farr, rhythm guitar; and Elliott Michaels, guitar and lead vocals.
