Cup 'A Tea soulful, evocative ditty, feat. a violin, and a dog fx, about a jailbreak from a pestilential place and a run down the highway back to "the house by the pond," in the American grain, as they say, who knows how many unjustly imprisoned, for petty infractions while the real crooks are "free to drink martinis and watch the sun rise..." (to paraphrase Dylan)

5 SONGS A DAY holy smoke, a prison break song, w dogs and po-lice cars, and a country road car chase, w a violin and catchy chorus, mass incarcerations every day, it's happenin', believe it, kudos...
LEGENDARY MUSIC Steve is in his element here with an old fashioned good time fun-lovin' toe-tapper definitely cut in his comfort key. I love the swing and swagger in his vocals. Love too that he wrote the lyrics years ago and pulled them out of the archives - a gem waiting in the wings for the right time so to speak and up-produced the song with his talented muso partners on the run, Bryon and Mark, adding the sauce to the melody. I wanna jump in the car for the ride wherever it’s goin' ... a great vibe in the spirit of the American grain that you won’t be able to get out of your head - should land you in GK territory, Steve.
