ALICETOWN
The dust devil shows exotic visions
When the hot wind starts to blow
Alice up ahead is spinning
In her pink and purple robe
And I'm gonna swim in her oasis
Underneath the swaying palms
A thousand miles from any city
Yeah the sun shows you no pity
Desert all around
On the road to Alicetown
In her bones she is a young girl
In her soul she is so old
But Alice, oh she is so pretty
Rarer than a desert rose
And I'm gonna swim in her oasis
Underneath the swaying palms
A thousand miles from any city
Yeah the sun shows you no pity
Desert all around
On the road to Alicetown
The jewel of Alice is a sapphire
Cooler than the ocean breeze
Her streets are paved with aqua seashells
She gathered from an ancient sea
And I'm gonna swim in her oasis
Underneath the swaying palms
A thousand miles from any city
Yeah the sun shows you no pity
Desert all around
On the road to Alicetown
Heaven's all around
Now I'm here in Alicetown
