A "soulish" take on my favorite subject, regret. Words and music by Val Jensen

Here I wanted to see if I could recreate some of the late 1970s/early 80s blue-eyed soul sounds in my head. As usual, the first line just came; in fact it all came pretty fast once I had the basic music track. The bass and drum tracks were key to getting what felt like the right cadence for the lyrics.
