Ben Franklin, world wide fame useful to the Colonies, Ben securing $$s from France to help fund the revolutionary war....and on the $100 bill, the Benjamin...
Ben Franklin

Ben Franklin invents lightnin’ rods,
ol Ben flies a kite,
when lightning strikes what a fright
sparks fly from Ben Franklin’s mind.
Ben travels on a ship to France,
ambassador for the colonies,
gets tangled up in many a romance
leaves em smilin’ many say, does he.

debonair, oh so debonair, la la la la
who cares if he’s overweight, what a head of hair.

Grew up with 15 brothers and sisters,
father scratched and saved to make a home,
Ben wakes, a curious lad,
swims a lake, hills and valleys roams.
you’ll find Ben on a $100 bill,
smilin’, ooh, to this day,
walked the walk and when he stumbled,
ate humble pie all day.

debonair, oh so debonair, la la la la
who cares if he’s overweight, what a head of hair.

SAVED....SAVED...

Saved houses and barns Ben
roly poly Ben,
Franklin stove keeps his comrades warm at night,
fly a kite Ben.

PICNIC
The EG keeps a light, breezy vibe, charmin' vocal, lyrics/story touches on Ben's inventions, his major role helping the colonies win the revolutionary war, pioneer in electricity, and a freedom-of-the-press founder, kudos...
