One night, I was laying in bed waiting to get sleepy and, as often happens, I started thinking about my mortality, and how these may be the last thoughts I ever have in life - I could die in my sleep. But, then, I thought - wait! I can't die! I gotta have one more night with my baby! And the first verse and chorus practically vomited itself out of me in one whole piece. I had to get up from my comfy bed and write it down, because I knew I'd forget it in the morning otherwise.
