A retro style, groovy pop / rock tune to purr to!! This is an unfinished work in progress.

AiDiem (Yimmie) Le - Lead and harmony vocals

This song was quite literally written over the phone during a long distance call between me (Danniielle) and AiDiem Le (vocals). It started with us chatting about the new Abbey Road keyboard sounds I had just got. With the phone receiver quite literally resting on my shoulder, I started to improvise something to show Yimmie what the Mrs. Mills piano sounded like and played the riff you hear at the start of this song. Yimmie then got all inspired and started singing along and wrote the lyrics you hear pretty much on the spot. Remember, this was all done during one rather lengthy long distance phone call!!!

This is a great tune with some nice work on the main vocals and got some sweet harmonies too. We Think it is has got terrific potential and would have some possibilities to do well on terrestrial radio. Love the big rich textures of the acoustic grand. Great Bass line very melodic, nicely thought out well done and kudo's to the arranger. Classic retro come Supertramp influences perhaps,Fine touch on the organ lead,well timed percussion coming in later in the tune, nice work there and it is indeed a smooth and fluid easy listening tune. A real cool and purring offering from SuperPuss. If a grade was given this is a 9.5 out of 10 although we dont do grades this is just a top notch well written and produced piece of work.
