SMASH What I liked about this song was how "Back from Ashes" carefully planned out the introduction as they start it off with a very cool acoustic guitar lead in with a light and laid back vocal intro then SLAM you get it in the Gut, Away they blast with those monster powerful Riffs that cut you to pieces and knock you off your seat. , it is a song that has a huge velocity of dynamics and some sweeping chordal change-ups and also some tastefully placed lead guitar. I especially liked the use of the vocal intensity and transitions, that was special. The two singers er, or should I say one that has a real singers voice and one that is slightly demented and possessed and dishes out some relentless bursts of killer vocal craziness. Actually great work there to this fellow who gives a terrific performance and really provides great support and an edge that sets this song at the top of this genre of music style In order to fully appreciate this song you have to Listen to this song more then once or twice, try at least 4-5 times, it gets better with each listen. There is some monstrous percussive work on this ripping tune and the musicians deliver a tremendous piece of work. The length of the song is just perfect.. the intro is nicely timed and there is just enough subtle parts of the song in order to avoid the blasting of the eardrums into oblivion . They are good at their craft and have put down a solid piece of work on this one. Top notch production, superb engineering and just a well put together heavy duty kicking mosh pit type of song that you want to throw yourself into. Great job all around. Intense and enjoyable.........but to really appreciate this type of group LIVE is the thing,. so with that being said lets look for them in your city soon.. oh one more thing folks,.the ending. it is quick and deadly..... bryon tosoff
