This song is from the perspective that I'm already famous and up on stage singing to my fans in the crowd that dig my presence and would like to get to know me better. My best friend Peter Jarahian from the amazing band The V Frequency from NYC was in LA for a weekend so he helped me record this. He's playing all the instruments, and we're singing at the same time, together.
All instruments recorded by Peter Jarahian from The V Frequency band: drums, bass, guitar, lead, keys and we sing together simultaneously. Jason Carro from his self titled band sings back-ups.
Story: My best friend Peter Jarahian from the amazing band The V Frequency was on his way out to LA from NYC for a weekend. I always like to have new material when we hang out so we can jam, have fun, and maybe record some. This is the song I came up with.
LYRICS:
meet me back stage after the show. i'll have time to talk don't you know. i spend my days alone.
meet me in the yard we can play a little while. up and down my slide because as a child. i spent my days at home.
meet under the bridge, meet me in the park.
we can talk and and hang baby in the dark.
i spend my days alone honey to clear my head.
i spent some lonely nights sweating in my bed - honey.
-honey i spend my days dodging sharks. x
