INDIE SPIRIT There is scarcely a musical style that hasn't captured Brian’s curiosity and interest at some point or other. This diversity in musical interest has created a unique cross-pollination of different genres: roots, blues, folk-rock, country-rock, jazz, R&B, world-beat, and others. Artistic influences are also diverse, but always include artists like: Neil Young, Tom Waits, JJ Cale, T-Bone Burnett, Daniel Lanois, Gram Parsons, Nick Drake, John Lennon, Leonard Cohen, Peter Gabriel, Beatles, CSN...
Over The Moon Two Atomospheric track with a bit of a U2 feel.
eYe I have known Brian for probably 30 plus years and his musicianship is high end quality,Brian delivers an exciting tasty quality listen of a song in Raven. Well placed Bgs and enticing world beat percussive elements. Smooth vocal was delivered in this song. Great vocals and rich tapestry of sound, sweet sonic feel.
eYe 5 EyE 5 eYe 5 Raven is an engaging groovin tune with a world beat style that is pretty cool and inviting, it is a happening tune with that universal appeal that should gain lots of fans here at iacmusic and I am sure (Chandra Moon will be really interested in this one , will have to let her know), and that world beat helps drive the tune throughout the song, the very strong percussive beat supports and holds the song together as it depends a lot on rhythm more then melody, , that is not a bad thing just the style that is required to make this song happen, how would I describe this tune , well perhaps it is an alternative world cosmic vibe, maybe that could describe Haleys style, that with a bit of of U2 influence is evident, perhaps splashed with some Eddie money rock, it is a well structured song and well worth a number of good listens to fully appreciate the groove, well done Brian
Voodoo Central solid song, fab singing ,production and vibe. love always wins
