My song 'Sick' is a deeply personal and heartfelt alternative pop ballad. I wrote it during a pretty dark time, deciding that I needed to pour all my heart and soul into this song.
The lyrics, music and melody are all mine.
I played the piano and sang the whole song on my own.
The strings in the background, as well as the mixing and mastering, was the work of a good friend of mine, Florian Maier.

This song deals with an issue a lot of people have to face: anxiety and depression. It describes various emotions and feelings of a person who is dealing with said issue, giving a small insight into that person's deepest thoughts as they're struggling with their feelings. This song was written to be emotional and direct; with the intention to make all the people out there realize how terrifying and discouraging depression and anxiety attacks are. Rather than downplaying this disease and criticizing those who are suffering from it, we should learn to listen and empathize.
