A moody electronic postpunk tale that builds to a big, sweeping chorus.

Unusually, the video was made first for another song. That collaboration didn't work out, but I loved the director's (Daniel Andrews of Trickle Down Productions) video, and I wrote this new song to accompany it. Kind of like doing a film score, really.

You don't have gold or jewels
They say you're unfit to rule
Only a memory
Of a green country
I know you'll rise again
It's human to want someone
What went wrong will be undone
When those pretenders
Have all surrendered
I know you'll rise again
Now you're dancing in your own empire
All their ships sail upon your seven seas
They won't look up from their phones to see you
No, they can't recognize their rightful queen
Now you're dancing in your own empire
You open palaces with your keys
And you can feel the warmth of loving hands
And the sun will never set on your dreams
