Komodo Wagon
DEMON (Demo)
ROCK. The riff at the start of this song grabbs you by the shirt and sais "LISTEN TO ME AND ENJOY ME OR ILL PULL OFF YOUR HEAD AND SPIT DOWN YOUR NECK" what can I say other than this is straightforward hard rock. There isnt a lolt of it out there that sounds as distinctive as this.

It's OK, I'm Scared Too
This is very cool, This isn't a live recording, but i should imagine this is pretty much what they sound like live. Uncomplicated, Certainly doesnt fall into the trap of layering up track after track after track of instrumentation. And the vocal at the start is so brialliantly lazy that the singer must have been asleep while the band manipulated his vocal chords.

HOUSE OF BLUES
This song reminded me, lyrically anyway, of "sultans of swing". However, I have played this many more times than I ever did dire straits. Listening to this I'm attempting to tap both feet, bop my head, click my fingers, swing my shoulders....Damn I'm dancing. I didnt think that was possible.

Spill Things
I had presumed, from the feel of these tunes I suppose, that these guys were from somewhere in the states, chicago maybe, but I was speaking to Brian Booth yesterday, and he informed me that they are from England! Spill things is a funky little blues tune that is close to our hearts. The number of pints that get knocked over while jamming down the pub is unreal. In fact, Brian named his album for the phenomenon.

Who Do I Gotta Kill For Your Love?
Floaty, slow and moody little blues tune. They say (who are they anyway?) never judge a book by it's cover. I read the title of this song and thought: "that must be a cool tune", and lo...it was.

Her Hymn
After hearing this this afternoon, I want to go and take over the world. It was a good day today already and this just made it better. Triumphant. Thanks David.

Something to Say (IAC re-mastered)
And he does. Lyrically Brians tunes are a treat. I picked this one out because of the lyrical twist at the end.
....And one day I’ll call you
When there’s something to say...
oh, and it's such an easy song to relate to. Havent we all wished we could say no?

my eyes
oh my eyes...and my ears. Top tune. He starts off playing this quite a restrained manner. By the time he gets to the end, the chords are ringing out and the strings, as well as the listener, are at the edge of their tensile stretch.
