“Yeah Whatever” is a Vancouver B.C. based hard rock band that was formed in 2004 when seasoned members Mike Witherington on guitars, Rob Breti on bass, Tony Rabachuk on drums and singer/song writer Evan Allen vocals, had collided. This combo is responsible for their highly acclaimed, just released debut CD Dispensing Disaster.
“Yeah Whatever” Has a solid dynamic sound, mixed with new aged vocals, universal lyrics and are great live performers. “Yeah Whatever” has an incomparable, diversified repertoire which includes hard rock - acoustic – jungle beats – screamo – power ballads and radio friendly material. While two of the members work in the film industry their music is respected by movie producers and may soon be heard on soundtracks. They are also in communication with the Canadian Army for recruiting videos for their song “No Hero”, a director for a sound track in a horror flick, and video pre-production is also underway for the song” Downfall”.
“Yeah Whatever” wrote songs specifically for the use in sound tracks, video games and their fans, they also have a clothing line in the final stages. Yes they are a band but also understand that music is a business and they mean it. As it stands now “YeahWhatever” has managed to be booked with the likes of The Tea Party, Swollen Members, Bif Naked, Shoecore, Todd Curns and that was just their second show. Since then they headlined every show, won a battle of the bands competition, and have positive www. reviews. “Yeah Whatever” will be in your face soon.
“YeahWhatever” is confident that their name and music will be a household slogan more than it already is. They have European contacts waiting for the album and possible tour dates by 2006.
“Yeah Whatever” is a registered trademark in Canada. Everything “YeahWhatever” is independently owned and operated by Mike Witherington, Rob Breti, Evan Allen and Tony Rabachuk.
