The flowing alternative melodies of the flood ooze an amber colored liquid through the veins of collected few individuals, who combine old school metal, rock and grunge into one explosive sound experience.
Verses of anguish, choruses of victory, screams of ecstasy and growls from hell supply the thick bass, pounding drums and heavy riffs with emphasis, feeling and emotion

Songwriter Joel McDonnell began playing guitar in high school after being influenced by the late 80s metal and the early grunge. His childhood we spent moving from state to state and solace was found in guitar and singing and exploring the music of bands like Alice in Chains, Black Sabbath, Faith No More and Metallica, upon which his music tastes are influenced by.

Shaun's drum technique stems from years of listening and playing along with the likes of NIN, Ministry, Slayer and other industrial bands, therefore adding a powerful technical metal sound to the EHF sound, heightened with the use of double kick drumming.

Salvador has been with the band since mid 2005, his Chilean background introduced a little more salsa to the songs, allowing percussion instruments like bongos and congas to be incorporated. Years of classical guitar training has given the band a more polished sound and a new life to some old songs.

Dan Fox, joined us in mid 2006 and the most recent addition is Vivek Raj who's playing percussion for us and is our team mascot. (Huggy Bear). With an EP due in the coming months, EL HONEYFLOOD is looking forward to a productive 2008.

The new album is complete and just awaiting mastering and production, as usual we are broke and need funds for our CD, so come along to our gigs, buy us some drinks, grab a t-shirt or two. Then hopefully will be able to launch our massively awesome killer dude ripsnorter of an Album.

The album consists of some old songs I Can’t See, The Mexican American, Day in, Day Out, When I Hate You ( All re-worked and altered with additional percussion, guitar, bass and vocals) as well as new songs Follow Me, Cursed Freedom and Pigs in the Know. We have some additional guitar masterpieces, myself and Salvador have constructed in Pee Stained Studios which will add a full album feel. 10 songs at around 30 mins. A jammed packed, home made, rough and raw CD which will be worth the wait. Peace EHF
