When a Kentucky-bred gal and Northern Californian fella fatefully meet in the heart of Colorado you are left with an overwhelming appreciation for reggae, folk, and soul music that goes by the name of Peak Arrival. The duo wants to smother out the social negativity of 2016 with their motto “Look up, Get up, Stay up, Way up.” The acoustic reggae duo blends folk, soul and rootsy harmonies that are fueled by IPA, humor and strong coffee and nuanced with inspiring positive lyrics.
The duet got its name off of the traveling term “peak arrival time” and play off their passion for mountainside living. To the writers, it represents a union that symbolically paints a picture of two talented songwriters who arrived from distant lands in order to refuel themselves with creativity using their common and unique musical interests.
Songwriters Meaghan Mader and Luigi Casaretto proudly tout their friendship and appreciation for Colorado’s natural beauty, while enjoying the liberties of the open country. In the summer of 2015, The duo began writing collaborative title tracks such as “Lemonade” and “Life Goes On”. These songs would soon be the first tracks on their first EP titled ""Way Up"". The EP is available on iTunes, CDBaby, Spotify, Amazon and Google.
In March 2016, Peak Arrival took their show on the road for a short Northern California tour, performing at various clubs and local venues. Future plans include regional and national touring and a follow-up EP.
