How we became Epic Drop?
Background:
The band was formed December 2005. Tom was writing songs and playing guitar music at home. He met up with David and Sean, high school mates. David and Sean were playing the guitar and bass in David’s garage. Together the guys decided to form a band and started to practice in Tom’s bedroom. Within the month they added a drummer, Natasha, another high school mate. She later dropped out and was replaced by Ryan.
Every band needs a name. The band first called themselves “Back to Life,” a name that had considerable meaning to Tom. Because the name was already taken they decided on another one. Tom liked the word Epic because it meant great, and Sean liked the word Drop. Putting them together they came up with Epic Drop. Short, simple, and not in use. So what’s an Epic Drop!!! Four band mates who want to be noticed.

What does the band do during the day?
Tom graduated high school in June and works as the band’s promoter. David and Sean work part- time jobs. Ryan goes to college and is in the Navy Reserves.
What are your plans for this coming up year?
The band hopes to sell their first album (out September 11th), play more shows, write more songs, build their fan base in the Utah market and elsewhere.

Sean – bass, songwriter [Not Now] Ryan - drummer
