Mike's Pilgrim Classic Country concert was a huge hit in central Nebraska. His collaborative work with area musicians and national music-makers again brings live music to everyone. Another collaborative music event celebrates traditional American folk songs that Carl Sandburg collected in ""The American Songbag,"" songs and Sandburg's poetry of the American heartland: Prayers for the People: Carl Sandburg's Poetry and Songs. Recently Mike coordinated and arranged the music for The Sandburg Project, a Nebraska Educational Telecommunications film airing April 2009 on NET.
