In my eyes

- reached #1 on the IAC Folk/Acoustic Rock/Americana Chart

LILY TRIES

Still it falls down
To the tide
All this dreaming
Eyes open wide
Listen sometimes
For the time
Tapped out waterfall
That’s what I’m

In my eyes
Lily tries
I don’t buy me
And I’m not about to cry
I’m not about to cry

Simmer down boy
It’s ok
It’s all nothing
A bad day
We’ll have tomorrow
For the day
It may not work out
One more day

In my eyes
Lily tries
I don’t buy me
And I’m not about to cry
I’m not about to cry

Hard to choose. All the songs are great, but I like this best!

Moody, Cool, Psychotic, and Mesmerizing
Trippy song here, I love it's Moodiness and the Mesmerizing nature of it. -M-

Love this!

The Good Stuff
There's a lot of good stuff on Vartan's page. But this is my favorite. He calls it "Americana" or something, but it's a lot more psych than that. Weird guitar effects and a beautiful melody.

Steady quiet groove

The Gift
I've liked Vartan's music from the first song I heard. I'm extremely interested in people... I see them... or hear them speak or sing... or am able to get some insight into their thoughts from talking with them or reading their words... and in the process I find myself wanting to know what makes them tick. Vartan is one of those individuals that I'm intrigued by, I think it's because of his writing style, and how that forms itself into song. He has a bit of a self admittedly, dark sense of humor... and I hear that a bit in some of his songs... but not in a bad way... in a way that makes his music interesting... and different enough not to be the same as everything else. This is one of the more mellow songs on his page... and I've just been having it loop as I've been typing this... and as of yet have wanted to press stop. Vartan has a great vocal... and his music always has a great groove to it. I again had a difficult time deciding on just one because there are several that I like... but this one grabbed me.
