All those reasons why we never finish things, and the people happy to ride us about them!

Words & Music by Paul Howard

fiogf49gjkf0d
I need a job, I need direction
I have to pay for my collection of
All the things I don't need anymore
I could spend my time, passing blame
And wonder why it doesn't change
The things that aren't the way they were before
Maybe I just need awhile; and extra several miles

These excuses, I make myself
A million reasons are on my shelf
For not just leaping into chance
A little push, a little shove
A little kick might be enough
To get me up and off of my ass
Should I mind you helping me
Help myself to be?

I would think it's impossible
Cut a corner or two
I would do almost anything
To get my back free of you

So many things cause me distraction
So much to do and so little action
For each and everything I say
So, here I am at the door
To face decisions I can't ignore
Unless I find another way
Another way to delay another day or more x
