This is a song about the process of growing from innocent children and becoming cold spirited, numb, selfish adults. Of course this doesn't apply to all...

To my best friend Hillary, to Genki and my family.

Sitting and rocking the echoes resound, children's toys singing pleas from the ground.

Music box spins, steel gears find their light, heaven's nots writing songs for our lives

They hear no reply.

The girls and the boys left their homes left their toys, and they played in the light of the moon.

And the world will rejoice at the child's drunken choice, "bring them down boys the sun's coming soon."

And their mothers will cry as they reach from the light, "We'll love you no matter what you've done."

"Mother were just having fun."

When the sun paints the sky they'll turn their backs shield their eyes,
"Were done for the sun really came!"

Some will burn some will cry as the light blinds their eyes, "should have stayed near our homes with our games."

He knows you by name.

Moody, Cool, Psychotic, and Mesmerizing
The Lonely Conductor has captured a fairly strange-feeling Mood by using some nice melody changes and vocal inflections as well as having mysterious lyrical content. -M-

Psyche Folk
Mellow melancholic song about wistfully remembering n reliving the innocence of childhood-perhaps the main raison d'etre of psychedelia thru the ages....The change into the squeeze-box bit is really evocative..
