This song originally had lyrics when I first started toying around with the melody sometime in 1994 (according to my notes from then!). When I decided to do a CD of original piano solos, I decided that the song wasn't going anywhere lyrically, and that I liked the music much better than the words. So, I scrapped the lyrics and recorded it as a piano solo.
