Do you ever return to a painful, unwanted pattern of behavior?

Produced by Peter Kearns, Marty Rifkin and Carrie Wade

fiogf49gjkf0d
Is it a constant spin?
I ask as I begin
to once again feel unsettled in my skin

You don’t know me now
I’m different than I was
before another body hit the floor

Should I hide my weapons?
should I just hide?
so I don’t have to hear another
barely breathing victim asking why

You’re going back to your old
You’re going back to your old ways.

Unrecognizable,
my pride so badly bruised
Is it irreversible?
Or can I ever hope to be who I was yesterday
I was better

Should I hide my weapons?
Should I just hide?
so I don’t have to hear you thinking
“there she goes, there she blows - again”

You’re going back to your old
You’re going back to your old
You’re going back to your old ways

There she goes again
There she blows again
There she goes again
There she blows again

Back to the Shack
Carrie weaves a tapesty of words and music that captures the heart. great insight

CRUISING IN THE SOUNDS via GeorgeO'Neil
Carrie finds the right sounds here and sends a cool message through her sounds . Very Nice !!!

Spock! I Thought You Were Coming To Bed.
This is atmosphere that rocks at the same time. !hen there's that voice, wow! This is true emotion, folks. Really nice production too.

This is Pop?
You know, I wonder how many of you who are paying attention would like to have Carrie and Patty Griffin together on a stage trading songs? Wouldn't that be an awesome show? I get invitations to go see Carrie play in LA. One of these days, when I have the extra cash to take the train down (dare i trust the FAA anymore?) I will be there. Until then, the adoring fans in LA would have to do the work for me.

Got Music?
Another of Ms. Wade's tunes appears on the charts, but this one is the most complete and best thought-out. This slow-boil song fills up dead space that leaves you feeling empty elsewhere. The vocal is sound, and the song just offbeat enough to keep you listening. There is considerable untapped potential here (thh).
