AFGHAN EYES

Here I stand a reflection of a man, fighting a battle I do not understand
I fight for freedom for you not for me, you've no idea my sacrifice I see

CHORUS: But now I see through Afghan eyes
I close my eyes and hear those cries
Death is my angel as I sleep
But it comforts me to know when I leave this suffering
I finally will be free

The war has long since been and gone, then why am I a warrior here, what is going on?!
How could you go and leave me in this un-Godly place, does your memory ever flash upon the vision of my face?!

CHORUS: But now I see through Afghan eyes
I close my eyes and hear those cries
Death is my angel as I sleep
But it comforts me to know when I leave this suffering
I finally will be free

(SPOKEN WORD):
This song is dedicated to the many nameless Ops Units still remaining in Afghanistan today,
Including a brother whose mind has no more demons and body can now rest in U.S. soil.
Americans have no idea as to the great price that is paid for their freedoms,
Especially the many immigrants’ countries we’re fighting whom live here today!
Recognize the unsung heroes America, cause your freedom sure ain't free!!

I can't believe our government would say their hands were tied, you and I both know that's a lie
Our blood is on their hands and forever it will be, many lives were taken here in the name of our country

CHORUS: But now I see through Afghan eyes
I close my eyes and hear those cries
Death is my angel as I sleep
But it comforts me to know when I leave this suffering
I finally will be free

Copyright Form PA Amendment, March 30th, 2006, Tynan Hart, political rock, Dedicated to my blood brother, Cpt. AMW (Name cannot be revealed for reasons of National Security), who gave so much and lost his life just so American’s could remain FREE and Bush could continue making tons of money for his buddies, but is finally going to rest in U.S. soil (Also dedicated to ALL of my boys from USCST Unit 1 who have served with me on 3 Special Teams for 16+ years) and all of the other members of unrecognizable Ops Teams.
