I'm back! And I've got a new CD that I've just released under my own label, Diddle Records (www.diddlerecords.com), titled "Clean Livin'" and it features my new song "The Devil's Come Back" which was chosen to be included on the "Idaho Rockers" CD released by the Esente Music Group.

If you'd like to sample some more of my songs or buy a CD, you can do it by going to my website @www.diddlerecords.com, and you might want to check out what else I can do there, like digital mastering & publishing (Diddle Records Publishing, ASCAP)

I hope you enjoy the new songs!

My name is Dave McIsaac. I grew up on classical music and jazz. How I got into country music is another story. But this isn't the time or place for that...I write, sing, play keys and fiddle. I have been a performing musician for more years than I care to mention. I've been on the verge of "success" a number of times (in a band that was signed in the 70's), traveling all over the US and Canada performing on stage with or opening up for dozens of major stars of the time (Ricky Skaggs, Juice Newton, Doug Kershaw, Bailie and the Boys, etc.). But life on the road has it's drawbacks - and I succumbed. It's been a long road back up to good health and a sound mind! I'm happy to say that I've been clean and sober for a good number of years and have made the decision to try a different path to "success".

So, now I'm a semi-retired musician trying to make a living in Pocatello, Idaho, taking care of his beautiful wife (Mary Jo) who has MS (Multiple Sclerosis). I don't do much playing anymore. I'm not particularly into bar gigs and there really isn't much else available around here. And playing on the road is rough on my wife, so I keep it down to an occasional show with old friends like Tommy Overstreet, Johnny U and the boys, or whoever else happens to be in the area. I'm just doing some writing and recording at home in my spare time with the dream that someday I might accidentally come up with something good enough to be picked up and recorded so I could take care of my wife properly. (She can't take care of herself very well anymore.)

Irene
Fast paced country rocker that is either about the devastation of Hurricane Irene or maybe the devastation of an equally damaging love affair with a hurricane of a woman named Irene. You be the judge!

Dave McIsaac has probably performed "The Devil Went own To Georgia" more times than Charlie Daniels himself.
That classic country tune inspired McIsaac to write a sequel, "The Devil's Come Back", which was recently chosen to be featured on the anti-drunk driving campaign CD "Idaho Rockers 2010".....
The invitation to be featured on the Idaho Rockers 2010 CD came at a perfect time for McIsaac, whose new CD, "Clean Livin'" is tentatively set for release on Oct.9....
McIsaac has recorded, mixed and mastered the album himself in his home studio in Pocatello (Idaho). Now that he has some experience under his belt he hopes to start producing other local musicians. Find more information at his website at www.diddlerecords.com.…
