The band known as KR-3 officially formed in the fall of 2003 and began playing regional shows through 2004. In the summer of 2005 the band went into the studio and recorded their first album 'This is KR-3'. The band played extensively through 2005 and in 2006 they went into the studio to record their second studio album 'The Curse' which was released in the spring of 2007. In 2008 they took a break from playing live and concentrated on studio material. KR-3 released a four song EP titled 'The Revolving Door' and immediately returned to the studio to record the double LP 'A Story of Rinascita' complete with horns and strings that was released in 2010. In 2011 the band recorded and released the 'Plundered Gold EP' and officially decided to return to live performances. They plan on recording their 5th studio album in July and August of 2012. The current lineup is Tim Boyd (guitar, vocals), Shane Lundy (guitar, vocals), Travis Hoard (keyboard, saxophone, vocals), Ian Varlas (bass) and Steve Fullerton (drums).

	Sly Sly is much shorter than most of kr-3s songs and is longer when played live. It is one of our fan's favorite and has been described as one of our catchier numbers.		AAA Adult Alternative
	Blue Skies Psychedelia. This track was recorded just before the actual formation of kr-3 as a band and allowed Tim to hone in on local musicians (and to lure them in with the demo). Blue Skies recieved very good reviews on garageband.com also.		Alternative
	The Water Song This is a trippy step back into Tim Boyds past. He started off his musical career playing bluegrass before moving to rock and jazz. This song combines rock psychedelia with a classic bluegrass feel.		Alternative Indie Folk
