Magical scratchy indie pop that while remaining totally accessible,still manages to sound like no-one but themselves(OK Maybe a little like The B52s on acid)..Charming,inventive,funny and beautifully strange,the boy/girl overlappping vocals are a delight as is this song..

Sly
Kr-3 make beautiful heavily late 60s influenced psychedelic folk pop and they've got alot of excellent lo-fi songs on their page..This is just a fabulous,smoochy n sensual ride down Haight Ashbury in 1967..You can almost see the refracted hazy blue sky spinning and smell the exotic incense and reefer on the breeze as this song plays..Lovely..

Mancino make brilliant,individual indie art-pop-and all 3 of the songs they have up on iac could've made it up here.However just the wonderful exotic STRANGENESS of this has given the Hitmen the urge to reach for their guns though...Its visceral intensity is like discovering you've just woken up in some amazing sensual market in Cairo..The ah-oo ah-oo part that comes in is pure tangenting songwriting genius too..Fabulous track

Bursting with trumpets,ultra-sun kissed joyful melody....Plus a timeless chorus and lyric that would've guaranteed a top ten hit if it had been released in 1967..The fact that its lying half forgotten at the back of an indie site is no reflection on its quality..Had the Hitmen dancing and shootin' their guns in the air with glee...A real gem

Really really lovely,fresh faced,melodic and totally natural acoustic song that sounds like it could be a great undiscovered rainbow folk jewel from 1968...Like so much music from that time,it captures the the feeling of innocence,joy and love-and what a refreshing change THAT is to hear...Its the the aural equivalent of jumping into a clear mountain pool on a boiling hot day..with your lover..Charming and magical.
