Dean Bailey is a 27 year old songwriter who has been playing gigs since the young age of 15,there isn't many venues in Manchester that dean hasn't played since then! His tunes are about everyday life that can relate to us all, his debut album sold over 2000 copies in the northwest getting him a recommended in city life magazine quoting ""Stockport's Dean Bailey a rockstar in ascendance"" since then he's played and supported such acts as The Fall, The dust Junkeys, Tom Hingley (inspiral carpets), Badly Drawn Boy, Clint Boon, A certain ratio, Haven and the lovely KT Tunstall. Dean has a full piece band behind him with three drummers! Acoustic, electric and bongos. The genre of Dean is definitely acoustic indie with a twist. There's also Deans partner in crime Stu ""gadget man"" Mac who producers Deans tunes and plays in the Dean Bailey Band on lead guitar and keys with Dave nailed on bass. Deans recent outings have seen him play the Manchester academy 3 and the amazing Moorfest. All in all Dean is an artist who is in the game for the music and is in it for life. Just need that lucky break. :)
