El Hotel was born when Iván and Nacho took a couple of days off work to mess around with the guitar and the drums. The experience turned out to be addictive and a bunch of songs later John joined on bass to start rehearsing. The search for a singer was long and difficult until Alex arrived and el Hotel officially opened its doors. El Hotel's music could be defined as Latin alternative. Or not. Alex is from Ecuador, John from Brooklyn, Nacho from Argentina and Iván from Mexico.
