SilverSky have been together for the past year after long-time collaborators John and Mike made the decision to build a new musical project & began looking for musicians who could help them fulfil their vision.

First to make the cut was Lee McKay. After watching him shed his clothes and play the drums like his life depended on it and spending a couple of evenings out together to confirm that he was as sane as any other drummer … he was invited aboard.

Meanwhile strange messages started pinging across the Irish Sea from a chap called Peter Smith, who wanted to fly over for an audition. Initially treated as a wind-up merchant, he explained that he had been following Mike and John’s previous musical adventures, and had an acute addiction to writing songs – unwilling to go cold turkey – he joined the band.

Starting on the local circuits SilverSky have quickly built up a live following and have fast progressed on to fielding regular invites to play at respected London venues such as The Monto Water Rats, The Marquee and The Borderline as well as other more intimate venues in and around London.

SilverSky have also showcased in Ireland and have performed electrifying sets at festivals such as Guilfest, Bug Jam and The Create Festival.

They have just completed recording their debut EP ‘The Trinity Sessions' which can be downloaded as an IAC DMD below!
