Kunek is an ensemble that consists of six multi-instrumentalists. Striving to create a unique and provocative sound through the experimentation of composition and tone, kunek leads listeners into a warm sentiment that can both lull the listener into a wading stream of consciousness or erupt into a wall of sonic fury.

The band began as an instrumental project with original members Jesse Tabish, Colby Owens and Jenny Hsu and soon evolved into an instrumentally diverse group of songwriters and composers with the addition of Josh Onstott, Jon Mooney, and Eric Kiner.
