Cruch Calhoun A.K.A .50 Calibur Cruch B.K.A The Next Up is undeniably one of New Jersey’s BEST upcoming artists and arguably one of the best upcoming artists period. Born Jerae Tyri Prather, Cruch started to take an interest in music at the age of 9 and started actually writing his own music at the age of 12 with a couple of his friends. By the age of 15, Cruch had a Dream to get into the music industry and was recording his own songs along with friends Acid and Tecc 9 Led. When these three young men were on a track together it was undeniable and until this day these three artists are still working together and have co-created the infamous rap crew known as the “Bully Gang”. With the Local success of the Bully Gang Cruch went on to start an entertainment label known as “F.O.R.T. BULLY Ent.” for the entire local artist who are supportive and standing behind the Bully Gang’s effort and love for music. Cruch has a unique style, he looks at instrumentals and verses a lot different from other hip hop artists which puts his SWAG near PLUTO. When music is played around Cruch he doesn’t just Hear it, he Listens…he has a unique blend of Pop, Rock-N-Roll, Folk, Reggae, Reggae ton, and Rap which gives him a totally different look on Hip-Hop. Cruch’s Passion for music is easily seen and cannot be mistaken, in February 08 he dropped the 1st CD (Now Or Never I) in his Mixtape series entitled “It’s Now Or Never” and the 2nd CD in the series entitled “More Music & More Cake: Now Or Never II” is looking at a JANUARY release.
