""Stay Here"" is the stunning new album from Emile Millar. Compared to such artists as Wilco, Coldplay, Dave Mathews, and Nick Drake, this debut release is receiving instant critical acclaim.
Emile hails from Santa Barbara, CA and now lives in Los Angeles. Along with fellow Santa Barbara artists Jack Johnson, Glen Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket), Dishwalla, and many others, Emile has developed an original sound blending intelligent songwriting with alt-country imagery and ambient-rock landscapes. Stay Here features some of LA’s finest contemporary musicians and retains that classic album feel sometimes lost in music today.
Emile has begun playing in LA and Santa Barbara and was a featured artist at 2005’s SXSW. You can see him at the Hotel Café regularly either playing his own material or backing up some of LA’s best songwriters. Emile has composed for film and television including the independent film ""Last Man Running"" and is currently producing LA singer-songwriter Kelly Dalton’s debut record, ""The Love in Every Bar."" You can also see him on tour this summer opening a string of shows for Lisa Marie Presley as well as in Austin, TX where Emile will call home this summer.
""Stay Here"" is a beautiful record that deserves to be heard, find more information at www.emilemillar.com.
