Our appreciation OF and "Worship" FOR... "THIS Moment" Of "NOW” dominates everything we have done "hear". And most of these songs had NO pre-"Planning". So, at times it "may" seem like they are "nothing" more than a "bloody mess". NEVER "the LESS" "Our Stuff... "IS REAL"... "A LIVE"... "Being"... "Spontaneous"... and "Unadulterated". "The Lyrics" came about in this same fashion(unless otherwise noted)... just "spewing forth"... page upon page upon page. And poor ol' "Mr. X" had to "decipher" just how to "sing" these “word-slingings” of mine... "wRight On" THE SPOT, while playing! It is REALLY cool knowin' that words of mine are bein' said out loud for the first time EVER by "Someone Other than myself"! And I could NOT have "said" them any better! In "Deed" IT IS "Truly Amazing" HOW "Beautiful" some of THIS "Stuff"(coming out of us?) Truly "IS"!
WE HOPE "YOU WILL ENJOY IT!"
"it"? shh! It? Shh! It's "ok"...

Though we choose not to think about it, our lives are nothing less than "A Perpetual High-Wire Act"... none of us knowing what the next moment will bring. And it is "This Suspense" and from "This Tension" that something Very Special "Comes Into Being". And "IT CAN BE CAPTURED!" but ONLY "AS IT IS HAPPENING!"... within THAT "Precious Moment!” of time. NOTHING compares unto THIS "MOMENT"! For "THIS MOMENT” CAN “NEVER BE REPEATED”! For instance: Losing Your Virginity... Taking Your First Steps... Speaking Your First Words... to "Re-Produce" this IS IMPOSSIBLE!!! It is merely a “COPY" and nothing else! "Imitation"! "Flattery"! Forever lost is that "Living Essence"
which is ALWAYS and FOREVER
"Remaining" IN THE MOMENT...
"THAT" MOMENT...
"THIS" MOMENT...
"NOW"!!!

The Role of Metaphor in the History of Psychology:
Psyche’s Muse (Chapter 1)
Ever since Aristotle asserted that “the greatest thing by far is to be a master of metaphor,” numerous scholars have studied and written about the nature and functions of metaphor. Recently, however, some scholars have begun to dig deeper into the topic, investigating the possibility that metaphor is not only a form of “speech”, but more fundamentally a form of “thought”, having basic epistemological functions. In other words, the inspiration of psychological thought, which I have symbolized as “Psyche’s Muse” in the title of this chapter, derives from the comparative, relational mode of understanding that I presume to be fundamental to human cognition.
Soskice’s own “working definition” is that “metaphor is that figure of speech whereby we speak about one thing in terms which are seen to be suggestive of another”. This definition is similar to that of Richard Brown, who asserts that “metaphor is seeing something from the viewpoint of something else”. And Aristotle says, “A good metaphor implies an intuitive perception of the similarity in dissimilars”.

The Sacrificial King
EVERY TIME a Solar eclipse occurred in Babylon... "The King WAS Sacrificed!" KNOWING THIS "Would Occur!" every 223 months(within an 18yr cycle) a "Substitute King" would be "Officially Appointed" as "THEE"/King with "Thee"/"REAL King" stepping down. And then THIS "Substitute King" would HAVE TO "Take These BAD Signs and Omens UnTo Hymn/Self" AND "Be Sacrificed!" as WAS "Duty/Fully" REQUIRED!!! Sometime after THIS, "Thee"(Original) King "WOULD"("appear" to) "LIVE AGAIN!"
Now, apparently the ancient Greeks held their King to this same “standard” as well... for they had built a very surprisingly sophisticated "computer" with multiple gears(one containing 223 teeth) to purposefully predict these same eclipse events. Well now... it would seem that the “Big Mystery” surrounding the “untimely” death of Alexander the Great’s could take on a whole new significance. For would not a "REAL" King take on “His” Responsibilities “HIMSELF”? Alexander was no “pussy”! He wasn’t afraid to “DIE!”... Any “REAL” King would not have someone else “stand in” to do "His" DIRTY WORK!!! And then there is this bit of “confusion”... about “Why was Alexander in such a RUSH to conquer the whole world?” ...hmm. Anyway, I wish those researchers would have mentioned whether or not there was any ecliptic phenomenon going on at the time of Alexander’s death.
Noteworthy as it relates unto this information, is the fact that there was also an eclipse(the "hour of darkness") at Christ's crucifixion... not to mention that “the Sins of the World were placed upon him" as well. And in the book of Revelation it is revealed that "Babylon and Egypt" are one and the same... and that the "moon will turn to red”(just as it does during a solar eclipse)... also from the Bible is this, as relating unto Jesus..."Out of Egypt I have called My Son”... hmm.
Another interesting tidbit "invoking" Jesus would be “The Passion Play” EXACTLY as IT IS performed today in Italy as a “Christian” rite. I wonder how widely it is known that this(exact) "Ritual" WAS "Being Performed" BEFORE JESUS "Came"! AND that IT’s "True Intention" WAS to(secretly) "Honor The Death Of Julius Caesar", who "had been" both "betrayed and murdered". AND one of His "Assassins" WAS KNOWN as "Longinus" too!("same name" for "the spear" which killed Jesus)! So, this "Rite" IS and WAS "For a Person bearing the initials J. C."

The NINE MUSES...
have been inspiring artists since antiquity. There are countless paintings, drawings, designs, poems and statues dedicated unto "Muses". Every "artists" of the Renaissance acknowledged THIS "Muse Importance" in artistic creation "by dedicating all of their works unto the Muses."According to the Greek Mythology, two Muses invented theory and practice in learning, three Muses invented the musical vibrations in Lyre, four Muses invented the four known dialects in the language – Attica, Ionian, Aeolian and Dorian – and five muses the five human senses. Seven muses invented the seven chords of the lyre, the seven celestial zones, the seven planets and the seven vocals of the Greek Alphabet.
Analytically, here are the Nine Muses :
(1)
- Clio: The Muse Clio discovered history and guitar. History was named Clio in the ancient years, because it refers to “kleos” the Greek word for the heroic acts. Clio was always represented with a clarion in the right arm and a book in the left hand.
(2)
- Euterpe: Muse Euterpe discovered several musical instruments, courses and dialectic. She was always depicted holding a flute, while many instruments were always around her.
(3)
- Thalia: Muse Thalia was the protector of comedy; she discovered comedy, geometry, architectural science and agriculture. She was also protector of Symposiums. She was always depicted holding a theatrical – comedy mask.
(4)
- Melpomene: Opposite from Thalia, Muse Melpomene was the protector of Tragedy; she invented tragedy, rhetoric speech and Melos. She was depicted holding a tragedy mask and usually bearing a bat.
(5)
- Terpsichore: Terpsichore was the protector of dance; she invented dances, the harp and education. She was called Terpsichore because she was enjoying and having fun with dancing ( “Terpo” in Greek refers to be amused). She was depicted wearing laurels on her head, holding a harp and dancing.
(6)
- Erato: Muse Erato was the protector of Love and Love Poetry – as well as wedding. Her name comes from the Greek word “Eros” that refers to the feeling of falling in love. She was depicted holding a lyre and love arrows and bows.
(7)
- Polymnia: Muse Polymnia was the protector of the divine hymns and mimic art; she invented geometry and grammar. She was depicted looking up to the Sky, holding a lyre.
(8)
- Ourania: Muse Ourania was the protector of the celestial objects and stars; she invented astronomy. She was always depicted bearing stars, a celestial sphere and a bow compass.
(9)
- Calliope: Muse Calliope was the superior Muse. She was accompanying kings and princes in order to impose justice and serenity. She was the protector of heroic poems and rhetoric art. According to the myth, Homer asks from Calliope to inspire him while writing Iliad and Odyssey, and, thus, Calliope is depicted holding laurels in one hand and the two Homeric poems in the other hand.
