This page is in loving memory of Sue Bundrick, who so sadly lost her fight to cancer on April 9th 2007. A celebration of her beautiful music and the voice of an angel. Mum, you will be forever in our hearts. Sue Bundrick began her singing career at the tender age of 15 when her father, Ron Gordon, who was leading a jazz band, noticed his young daughter's talent and put her in the spotlight singing in his band at ballrooms and nightclubs. Sue married Mike Vickers of Manfred Mann and they brought up two daughters, Jackie was born in 1962 and Cathy, born in 1967. Sue continued with her singing and songwriting, and in 1972 she was signed to The Moody Blue's Threshold Records, where she had two releases 'Loving you the way I do' and 'Will You Take Me With You' Sue was also commissioned to write a song for a Cilla Black show. She wrote 'Easy In Your Company' which was also the name of the TV show. Sue collaborated and sang with many great musicians, including John Dankworth and Cleo Laine. Her song, California enjoyed success as a hit for Manfred Mann's Earth Band, and is a track on the album 'Watch'. Her beauty, compassion and beautiful voice will live on...
