Hi, I’m David—former frontman of Golden Kayak nominee Blisster, songwriter, poet, and architect of reality. One of my primary alter egos is Daztardlybaztard.
I needed a raw, new outlet for my lyrics and discovered AI. At first, I was standoffish—until I heard an album mixing Wu-Tang with delta blues on YouTube, and it completely blew open what was possible. I started pairing original poetry over EDM, truck-jamming rock, and grunge beats, and I got hooked.
My Creative Process:
* Vocals & Textures: Suno lets me create a voice profile where I sing a bunch of different ways, then I tweak the voice with prompts like "fragile yet proud" and "raspy pubescent."
* Arrangement: When I record songs, I do them fully acoustic first to capture my own melody. From there, I can keep it acoustic or tweak it. Songs can take days or a couple of hours depending on my mood and the direction it takes to take things.
* Prompts & Control: I also add bracketed prompts in the lyrics that can explain emotions, effects, or other things like that I want.
* The Ownership: 100% of the lyrics, emotion, story, and vision are mine. I program it, shape it, and tell it how I want it to feel. I'd never allow it any other way, and I don't stop altering prompts until the song is exactly as envisioned.

Honestly, I'm new at it all, and I'm a songwriter just like everyone else here. It's actually an extremely inspiring process that has taken my music in some very beautiful and unforeseen directions, and also helped me see some major mistakes I had been making with my solo acoustic performances.

AI doesn't make the music—it's the instrument. If the result moves you, that's still music. The tool doesn't diminish the art; the intention behind it is the art.

Daztardly David Yates	10/19/2026 9:18:51 PM Thanks for the comments, and to your question….suno lets me create a voice profile where I sing a bunch of different ways and then it creates an ai version of me, not great but then I tweak the voice with prompts like “fragile yet proud” and “raspy pubescent” lol. Then when I record the songs I do fully on acoustic they take my melody and I can keep it or tweak it. Songs can take days or an a couple hours depending on my mood and the direction it tries to take things. I also add bracketed prompts in the lyrics that can explain emotions or effects or other things like that I want. Honestly I’m new at it all. I’m a songwriter just like everyone else here. (I really hope this doesn’t sound like a commercial). It’s actually an extremely inspiring process that has taken my music in some very beautiful and unforeseen directions, and also helped me see some major mistakes I had been making with my solo acoustic performances.
McAllister	9/30/2026 3:14:01 AM Using Suno AI to turn acoustic recordings into full productions is a smart approach. How do you usually tweak your prompts to keep the generated instrumentation from overwhelming your fnf game original vocals?
nikolasalwillsom	8/11/2026 6:05:16 AM Great tracks shared on this page! I always like listening to good indie music in the background while taking a short break or playing casual web games on sites like classroom 6x. Keep up the good work!
