Many textures and creepy sound-scapes unfold in this
tale of horror which drops the listener off in a scary land
where revenge and a mummy zombie, like this brutal
sound assault, takes the listener out of the 'norm'.

Another feel-good song from Shauna Skye (currently w/Blue Union)...Very addicting as I find myself returning again to hear her adorable vocals as they dance among the swirling psychedelic background keys and uptempo acoustic rhythms... both shining brightly...this song makes you wanna "skip" down the street and wave at everyone you meet!... Here Tyler Jakes is trapped in a low-budget psychadelic

Idiom of Sad

Is it the dark skies foreboding or perhaps the night fog

Pete Townshend
Lazy Fat People
When listening to this imaginative and unique song by
Townshend, I feel like I'm witnessing a vaudeville skit
in motion...the free-form kooky whistle adding a touch
of the ridiculous to this song of unquenchable greed...
you can almost see them marching absurdly to the table
as Pete masterfully changes his acoustic picking and
syncopation to accompany each stanza and vocal line.
Sardonically light-hearted romp among the dinner tables
of the fat and rich...er...excuse me...you can't enter
without a dinner jacket!...ha ha ha

DirgeK
Coming Home
Possibly knowing of her limited time here, and all of the
mistakes she's made, the powerful spirit and voice of
DirgeK make it clear that she Doesn't want to leave of
her own accord. Trailed by the timeless dark power which
has stalked and engulfed many gifted human beings and
artists plagued by that 'emptiness and pain' which can't
be found nor cured, DirgeK pours it all out with this
miraculous display of truth and heart...images of Joplin
immediately come to mind along with many other iconic
soul-sisters of music. May you R.I.P.-you wonderfully
talented little lady..you left us too soon! Fantastic
musicianship and interaction by all the players on this
one.

Tom Waits
Bottom of the World
"I'm hand-cuffed to the Bishop and the barbershop lie"...one
after another; diamond lines of truth and fiction found
only on the railroad tracks at the bottom of a Tom Waits
world, where an Ironweed grows no moss and rides the rails
with likewise broken characters who run from the pain of
life and loss, only to be left wondering: "but who is the
king of all of these popes?"

Glen Hill (with Eric Lichter)
One of my favorite songs by Hamilton, this version with
accompaniment (including nice background solo guitar) tells
a condensed bio memory of life at home and some of the
characters and emotions lived and left there. A fitting
testimony of the past and the lasting effect a house
and surrounding property can have on the child/man/all
who dwell within.

It's ruff in this rollin world sometimes and a happy drunk
knows it and in this tune April 'trusts his inner brakes'
and may be stumblin a little, but he refuses to be

materialistic views and won't be too hard on himself or
anybody else...just followin that rivers flow!
