Alright
Wonderfully British pop music. Lush and lilting with a flavorful groove. Great music to drive to!

Breaking Me In
It was the name that got my attention. It was the song that prompted the additon to the playlists. Gothic (not Goth)atmospshere. Dark, Lonely, and hopeless. true strains of the Velvet Underground.

Very new wave. Reminds me of The Cars mixed with the Tubes. which is odd since Prairie Prince is The New Cars Drummer.
I like this.

something beautiful
A fantastic guitar part. The melody, for me, is evocotive of Echo and The Bunnymen's Killing Moon, brings back wonderful memories. This is a haunting track. Standout lyric: "all the things you say that won't come true, like rock music". WOW.

FROM STEVE ISON'S PICKS:
A beautiful swooning pop song with the sunny spirit of swinging London in the 60s mixing magically with the ironic wryness of The Smiths..This song'd be #1 in my dream chart f'sure....

An interesting song with humor, a bit of a Pulp-ish vibe, and a cool little synth.

Mojo
While it might have some retro colors it really isn't retro at all. But what it is is very, very good! This is so highly superior to what's on the radio right now. This should/will be huge. Actually my stamp of approval is the kiss of death as anything I think is really good rarely moves beyond cult status ie; The Damned, Television, The Stooges, The Kinks (in a wierd not really sort of way), etc...There have been some exceptions ie; (Dontcha just love using Ie;?)The Clash, The Kinks (in a wierd not really sorta way), Cheap Trick . Enough about me. This song is great.

As station Radio Net said. Very Tim Burton-esque. Wildy whimsical. Fantastic orchestrating. A good soundtrack for when your in a rush trying to make your way out of the house.

Another K-NDY "You Heard It Here First"!
Great song combining 60's pop and awesome alt. Great lyrics and sound. Are you guys saying get away with your funnel hand? What is a funnel hand?

I love these kinds of melodies. The sounds on this are great. I subtract a point for the busy drums but I'm hard core old school where drums are concerned. Syncopated drums aside. This is a really nice song.

A reference to Simon Templar. Not as many points as Illya Kuryakin but impressive nonetheless. Some great chord changes/melody and a well constructed atmosphere. This is a really great song.

Everything That Happened
One of our songs. Yeah whatever. Anyhow, this is a little piece of alt power pop. I'm happy with some of the lyrics in this one. For instance: "Something turned out all wrong like a car that ran a light, like remaking Rollerball, like a gunshot in the night". You have no idea how gleeful I was when I worked in the new Rollerball dis.

Life Without Lolly
WOAH! This song freaked me out a little bit. It really reminded me of Schoolhouse Rock and that has nothing to do with the name Lolly. It's the quality of the vocals. Remember the haunting "Figure 8"? This song has the same kind of meloncholic atmosphere. The lyrics are about as straightforward as you can get. There is not one drop of pretention anywhere to be found here. The song also has a strong if completely unintentional psychedelic quality to it making it a nice addition to K-NDY.
