i recently liscenced a song (called 'insane') to a tv show called 'south of nowhere'. i'd never heard of it, but apperently it's aired on a teen channel (noggin), formatted teen stories (as in soaps), demographed for teen girls and boys (who are girls). attempts to address: -homosexual identity (girls, natch, and they are hot and live in bevery hills), -race&class (boys, natch, and they is hot and live in beverly hills), and -drug addiction (designer drugs, natch, and they are hot and live in beverly hills). my number got the detox in school scene. i was hoping for the hot teen girls making out scene, but so it goes...i recorded 12 songs and printed 500 copies of a cd i call 'shark', but i am unhappy with 6 of the songs. they need more tracks and remixing. also there are about a baker's dozen misspellings, credit mistakes and a few other heinious crimes. feel free to solicit me for a copy. i will be back in the studio in may to record 13 more new songs and pick the best of the bunch and put it out there. i recently did some mercenary work for a project called 'monster maker'. recording was fun on studio magic, coffee and smokes. touring was a nightmare on wheels, booze, and testerone poisoning (or the lack thereof accoding to the new yourk times). meanwhile, back at the ranch, a few local shows are lined up with an excellent band out of b'klyn called jaggery (look them up. they are entirely beautiful and intimidating) and life putts on and songs poot out. okay thanks bye
