Park Police are a three piece indie rock/pop trio from Baltimore, MD. They started playing together in a band called Jook in 1995. While in Jook, they had the opportunity to share the stage with bands like George Clinton and the P-Funk Allstars, Cheap Trick and The Meters. They have played in places such as Washington D.C.'s 9:30 Club, the side stage at Nissan Pavillion in Virginia, New Yorks City's Wetlands, among others.
In 2003, they formed Park Police and began playing high energy rock shows around the Mid-Atlantic region. Influenced by such bands as Guided by Voices, the Who, Built to Spill and Klark Kent, they wrote and recorded their debut album, ""Ranchero"" and released it in the summer of 2005.
