"THE RETROTONES - Garage meets grunge via pop…the missing link between Nirvana and The Creation"... "THE RETROTONES - The all embracing sound of 60s British freakbeat such as The Creation, The Action or The Yardbirds may be discerned herein. Bits of Nirvana, The Von Bondies and Wolf Motha too… very retro toned indeed and very good" "THE RETROTONES- Where Wolf Mother/Von Bondies/Nirvana new Rock and Roll hits the garage." http://www.bugbearbookings.com/pages/halist.htm Thanks for taking the time to read our profile, feel free to add our songs to your stations / playlists. 2/20/2008 5:12:30 PM Well you should place " Something Else " in first position on your list and definitally promote your " Stone Temple Pilots / Nirvana " side more often...like " Another Way "...more impact and seems to be more your " very good sounding natural " style. I like the 90's touch it all too ! Completly rockin' guys !!! With alot of luck, we'll do a show together !

2/11/2008 11:58:09 AM Hey thanks, you got a few tunes in here! Keepin' it in the family I see. I used to play (though I am still quite good friends now and still play with them occasionaly) in an original band with 3 brothers. We would lie and say I was a cousin:) It was interesting at times to say the least! Thanks and I'll be back to really listen soon! Rob
1/2/2008 7:06:05 PM Hello there chaps, welcome aboard and kudos for bringing the good music with you. Heard "Call Me On the Phone" and really liked it not to mention the funky edge to the recording. I was in a band some years back with a singer from Chelmsford...fell apart after he threatened to brain me with my Les Paul. Bands...you know how it goes. Stay in touch!
1/2/2008 9:52:21 AM Welcome, Retrodoodz! I dig your retrovibocity...wasn't sure what to expect after choosing the well played but distorted sounding "Upstairs Omnibus" to listen to first...second choice was "Dead On My Feet" - now we're cookin' with gas! Yes indeedy, Hugo would jam witchuz... Hope you have lots of fun around here - rock on - happy new year... HH
