Songs Celebrating WEED and the benefits thereof, for those listeners who support legalization, and for songs that relate to being "high" or are good to listen to whilst in said state. {Bands on the playlist do not necessarily support legalization - The station is to entertain those who do.} (If you would like to know a bit more, please read on.) A personal note about your host: I am "one of those" who cannot control the use of marijuana, so I do not currently use it. Fortunately, however, I can still think "stoned"! Music is the primary way I achieve this state of mood and mind today. My personal view is that marijuana is a medicine, and (like all medicines) can be misused. I hope we remove barriers and stigmas for those who are sick and can benefit from it. Whatever your view, know that your host respects it and you, and hopes that you enjoy the song list! Thank you!

The Grip Weeds
Get By
Flavored like Syd Barrett - meandering melody line, but with a nice proto-punk attitude, and busy - 'wall of sound' - drums. Watchout for that wah solo! added to station 2/6/2015 11:16:50 PM

mcdaid
smoke in the trees (demo)
A delightful splashy tune that takes its time and encourages you to do the same. Nice strings add a Beatles-like feel, while sparse but tasteful vocal harmonies are more in an American retro-spirit of the Byrds. added to station 2/6/2015 11:25:54 PM

Naughty Boy
Riff heavy and red-lined guitars, strong beat and blues based, vocal power, and someone who knows how to stretch a note in the solo... added to station 2/6/2015 11:52:02 PM

The Living Dolls
Nancy
If a band knows how to orchestrate a song well, it's The Living Dolls. Harpsichord sets the tone early that this song will have ambition. added to station 2/7/2015 12:58:45 AM

Apperture
caution! You have entered the same zone that inspired "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun." A rave-up launches the droney feel elsewhere. added to station 2/7/2015 1:11:06 AM

Do you know where your sons are? They barely know too, after the Reptilian Queen takes them hostage. Apparently though, they've lived to tell the tale. added to station 2/7/2015 1:17:00 AM
