Back in the mists of time in Edinburgh I had a band called Shadowfax with Dougie Moncrieff Dougie Mcdonald and Mitch Mitchell, we narrowly avoided being teeny boppers by a hair (Mine) I then spent some time on the road with a travelling carnival. Eventually went back to edinburgh and played in TPI who soon aquired a reasonable local following. Then I took a job as a DJ with the mecca organisation, 8 years later I moved to London and studied acting for 3 years, one night outside the Hammersmith Odeon after a Kraftwerk gig I met up with some friends from Scotland and they were having a Party in Northampton so I went there for the weekend, as soon as I got to Npton I met up with Mark Halsey and David Turvey together we formed Barbed Choir. I then spent some time in various bands Stange Tales, Stranger Tractors, Amen, The law of five's, Venus Flytrap, The emperors of Ice Cream, Wilson, I also did some work with The jazz butcher, and Spectrum, and several others. I have toured with Midge Ure, Martin Stephenson and a few of the usual suspects. and Now I play pretty much on my own live. In the studio I have been lucky enough to have the talents of Jim Condie, Tim harris, Roy Dodds,Stephan hanigan Guy Fletcher, JB, and Dan Preece to help me make some lovley music.
