AG, Al Greene, was born in Harlem, NY and resided at the Polo Ground projects where he fell in love with the weekly block parties and the evolution of hip hop music. He then moved to Richmond, VA at the age of 13 where he began developing his own musical sound and style. Years later his passion for hip hop music became certain. He then began building his own studio and accumulated a team of hungry, devoted hip-hop artists and created the label MidSouth Records where he serves as CEO, Producer, Artist and MidSouth Records Mastermind.
Vaughn Williams a.k.a V-Dubb, Dubb SugarMan uses his artistic talent as a gateway to express his witty, sharp and contagious style of thinking and writing into a relatable lyrical hymn that keeps necks nocking and women smiling. He accredits his love of music to his father and his mission is to be heard. Although, born in New York he soon found himself to be a family man settled in Richmond, VA but his hunger for the spotlight keeps his writing versatile and his mind focused on his inevitable journey to the top.
Raised in Richmond, VA by way of Harlem, James Spencer (Young Clap) is a 22 year old artist who began rapping at the age of 15. He became seriously motivated via his cousin, MidSouth CEO, Al Greene (AG). Young Clap focuses solely on his own music without influence from the mainstream. He brings a laid back pimpish chill to the MidSouth family and his dedication to be successful in the rap game fuels his desire to be the best. He’s featured on MidSouth’s debut album “The Compilation” and is anticipating his chance to shine.
